Google Business Profile Checker
Score your Google Business Profile out of 100 by ticking what your listing already has. The checker then names the three missing items worth fixing first. Made for owners and office managers who run their own profile.

Three steps, about a minute
Step 1
Open your Google Business Profile in another tab so you can check each item against the live listing.
Step 2
Tick every item your profile already has, from primary category down to the business description.
Step 3
Watch the score update on the ring, then work through the items under Fix these first.
How the google business profile checker works
This is a self-check, not a scan of your live listing. You tick the items your profile already has: a primary category that matches your main service, secondary categories, every service listed with a description, service areas, regular and holiday hours, 10 or more recent real photos, a post in the last 7 days, replies to reviews, a steady flow of new reviews, seeded Q&A, a website link with UTM tags and a description written for customers. Each item carries a weight based on how much it tends to affect map visibility. The weights of the items you tick add up to a score out of 100 on the ring, and the three unticked items with the highest weights appear as Fix these first. Google keeps its ranking formula private, so the weights reflect experience, not an official scoring system.
Using the numbers like a pro: tips for local service businesses
Pick the primary category that describes your main money-making service, not the broadest option available. Add secondary categories only for services you actually perform.
Set special hours before every holiday. A customer who calls or drives over when the profile says open, and finds you closed, is a bad review waiting to happen.
Upload real photos of finished jobs, your trucks, your team and your shop. Customers want to see who will show up at their door, and stock images tell them nothing.
Want us to do this for you?
For many local searches, your Business Profile is the first thing a customer sees, ahead of your website. A complete, active profile gives Google more to match against searches and gives people more reasons to call. Tag the website link with UTM parameters so Google Analytics 4 shows the visits it sends. A full profile audit, plus weekly posts and photo updates, is work we handle for local businesses.

Google Business Profile Checker questions
How do I improve my Google Business Profile ranking?
Google says local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. You control relevance with accurate categories, services and a clear description. Prominence comes from reviews, links, mentions across the web and your overall reputation. You cannot change distance, but complete and accurate information helps Google show you to nearby searchers.
How often should I post on Google Business Profile?
Weekly is a practical rhythm for most small businesses, and this checker looks for a post in the last 7 days. Share finished jobs with photos, seasonal reminders, offers and updates. Posts show customers the business is active. Keep each one short, specific and tied to a service you want more of.
Do Google Business Profile categories matter?
Yes. The primary category is one of the clearest signals Google has about what your business does, and it shapes which searches you can appear for. Choose the most specific category for your main service, then add secondary categories that match other real services. Review them now and then, since Google adds new categories over time.
